Next we went to Ta Keo.
At first glance from the road it’s a fairly unassuming temple.
Sure it’s beautiful, but next to all the other lovely temples it was lackluster.
Buuuut.
LOOK AT THOSE STAIRS.
See her sitting, them up to her knees?
Also I know I’ve waxed poetical about stairs at temples before, but these were the worst.
Of course my sister captured me on a short step, but mostly we were sort of… crawling up.
You can’t really tell, but here I’m at the highest point of the temple. E wouldn’t go up here. Somehow I totally missed she doesn’t like heights…
Going down was a bit of a challenge, it was actually easier to offroad it.
And going down the main part…
We had to sort of crawl backwards.
From there we went to I believe.. Ta Prohm.
I think Ta Prohm based on Tomb Raider 8D This one was also in the first movie.
I loved this one too ;_;
Actually I think all my favourites are the ones that were in the movie.
Pretty sure this is a chocobo.
And this is a dinosaur.
It’s sad and beautiful at the same time, all these trees growing out of the temple.
We sat here awhile, and just looked around.
Bonus it was shady and cool.
This is another place I’d have liked to just relax more at, so peaceful.
But we did have to leave eventually… to more temples!
